Palancar is entirely private, secluded and fully protected by security cameras. Only one road leads in or out of the Reserve with security checkpoints at the entrance and exit

Palancar is fully self-sustaining and energy efficient. Underground cisterns fed by rainwater provide filtered potable and reusable water; the largest array of solar panels in private hands in Mexico provide clean energy, backed up with diesel generators
